NON WORKING PASSIVE RESIDENCY

 

The principal owner must invest a permanent and effective amount of at least 400,000 euros in one or more types of assets listed below:

a) real estate located in the Principality of Andorra.

b ) Shares in the capital or equity of companies resident in the Principality of Andorra.

c) debt instruments issued by financial institutions or residents of the Principality Andorra.

d) debt instruments issued by any public administration of the Principality of Andorra .

e) Deposits unpaid at the National Institute of Finances. If you have not made the corresponding investment, the applicant must demonstrate, upon formal request, the commitment to make effective investment above within six months. After this period, the resident has to provide, under the conditions determined by regulation, documents proving the investment.

 

The principal owner has to deposit cash with the Andorran Institute of Finances the amount of 50,000 euros. In addition, the owner must also deposit the principal amount of € 10,000 for each unpaid dependents who acquire resident status without gainful activity. These amounts will be deducted in respect of the amount referred to in the previous paragraph The residency obtained via non working is granted for a period of one year, the first renewal is granted for a period of two years the second renewal for a period of three successive years for a period of ten years except for nationals of states that have signed and ratified an agreement with the Principality of Andorra (see procedure D.2)

 

RESIDENCY FOR SCIENTIFIC INTEREST, CULTURE AND SPORT

 

Authorized to reside in the country for the duration of authorization and to continue developing the professional activities that may be providing their own principal recipients persons or entities not resident in Andorra.

 

May be applied in accordance with current legislation, any foreign person who enjoys international recognition for his talent in the world of science, culture and sports, newcomer, that:

 

• benefiting from the quota established by regulation.

• Set your principal residence and effective in the Principality of Andorra for at least 90 days per calendar year.

• At least 85% of the services provided should be used in any other country or territory other than Andorra.

RESIDENCY FOR PROFESSIONALS

 

Authorized to reside in the country for the duration of the authorization and to develop a professional activity in the following terms:

 

• The seat or base that develops professional activity must be located in the Principality of Andorra.

• The person with international professional must have at most a person hired in labor regime.

• At least 85% of the services provided by the professional person should be used in any other country or territory other than Andorra.

 

May be applied in accordance with current legislation, all newcomers that:

 

• benefiting from the quota established by regulation.

• Set your principal residence and effective in the Principality of Andorra for at least 90 days per calendar year.

 

Information you need to add

 

1) The principal owner has to deposit cash and the Andorran Institute of Finance the amount of 50,000 euros unpaid. It also must deposit the amount of $ 10,000 for each unpaid dependents.

 

2) Evidence of economic viability of the activity that aims to perform and show that this activity will generate sufficient financial resources to enable it both to her and to the dependents residing in Andorra.

 

a) If you have already developed activities in another country before obtaining authorization, a copy of any document proving the financial situation of the business and in particular the amount of income and expenses last year ended before submitting the application.

 

b) If the activity is to be carried out new business plan that specifies the projections of results derived from the activity during the first three years and contains an explanatory report on the prospects of the activity, accompanied by all enabling supporting documents prove the assumptions and data used to develop the business plan.

 

3) Prove that it has a sufficient level of qualification and professional experience in the sector in which frame the activities.

 

a) A curriculum vitae detailing academic and professional experience in the field in which the activity is part of the application object.

 

b) A copy of any document certifying the education level indicated by the applicant in its curriculum.

 

Period of authorization

 

The initial authorization of residence without work is awarded for a period of two years, the first renewal is granted for a period of two years, the second renewal for a period of three successive years for a period of ten years except nationals of states that have signed and ratified an agreement with the Principality of Andorra (see procedure D.2).
